All of the children participated in the library's summer book program last year, and they won tickets to a minor league baseball game, a meal at the game, and a megaphone... great prize, huh? The Tincaps are named for Johnny Appleseed, who is buried right here in Fort Wayne. How neat is that? If you've never been to a minor league game, we highly recommend it... it's very family friendly and fun. We had a blast, and the kids all enjoyed it- even Bekah. And, they played the minor league team from Lansing- the kids loved that the Tincaps played Liam, Lainey, and Sam's team. We can't wait for next year's game!
