Bekah dancing

One of my friends sent a link to an upbeat song on Facebook, and when I opened it, Bekah immediately started doing this:

Co-op classes

I have had so much fun teaching the co-op class at church for elementary anatomy and physiology. We also have singing instruction and writing class. The children have really enjoyed it and we've done so many projects and learned so much! These have been taken throughout the year, showing us looking at slides of cells, mummifying apples, making cells out of jello and candy, dissecting sheep hearts, and learning the heart anatomy using graham crackers and marshmellows.

Bekah's first steps

She did this in November, when we had finished taking our Christmas pictures...

Nate's trip to Missouri

Natie
Presbytery was in Branson in October, and of course they were too busy to take pictures during Presbytery... but they stopped at Laura Ingalls Wilder's Rocky Ridge Farm on the way home... the girls were so excited to hear about it!

The two pastors that lead Christ the King Church (where Nate is a temporary elder and where we go several times a year)... Bill Hendrian and Jeff Swanson... such great guys and great families.

The Arch

Crossing the Mississippi... not as exciting from this angle! :)  I remember being very nervous when I was young and we'd visit my grandparents in Illinois (I was born in Colorado)... I can still picture all that water so far below.

Erin singing!

Erin is such a singer- she sings hymns as she cleans, she sings the Gloria Patri so well and clearly in church that everyone always comments on it, and she adores music. She did this in the early fall, so check out how cute she sounds with her missing teeth!

Fall zoo trip

We love going to the zoo together after school has started- we pretty much have the run of the place, along with other homeschooling families and moms with little ones. The weather was not too hot, so that made it perfect.

Stephen looks for fish in every pool of water... even puddles!

Bill and Ina were lazy that morning!

I love baby feet!

Our favorite spot to eat lunch.

Tengku was so annoyed with the sun- yet he kept sitting right in the light! :)

We were on the log ride here... and we actually had a female peacock leap right over us when we got to the kangaroo fence.

Bekah eating her birthday cake

Katy's frog makes an appearance, too! :)

Another October trip...

This is still from October (and I have more to go!)... Nate preached up at Christ the King Church. We love going there... we've gotten to know the families pretty well, and each one of us has friends there...

The view from the Southwell's farm... gorgeous!
